Thoughts on Beatitudes
Greetings and love to you! Ladies, friends, buyers, window shoppers—Christians and non Christians! I know you all drink water and you may have preferences too: sparkling water or still water.
Honestly, here is this good Living Water, refreshing every soul—you can’t but drink it all. That is the word I want to share with you. I know you are familiar with it and may have read it who knows how many times. Yes, the Living Water of the Lord flowing from two thousand years still flows now, yet reliable and not fallen short of its "quantity or quality". The cost is still zero. We are only to guard the "pipes" from which the Living Waters flow.
It refreshes us—calming down the temperatures of our souls. It renews and replenishes us from within. The Living Water is a help for our eyes to see the world around and to guard us. We are able to filter wrong from right or vice versa. We strengthen our bones so we do not become weaklings in the faith.
Who would not like to drink this Water that costs nothing? It’s vital power is eternal.
Come then, let us drink again and again, but not because we thirst. For it is written those who drink it will never thirst again. We drink because it is tasty and good. Let us then revive our souls with the "Beatitudes" of our Lord!
Matthew 5:5-12
